The basis for the notification of cookies was amended by the Electronic Communications Act (Official Gazette No. 109/2012, briefly ZEKom-1), which entered into force at the beginning of 2013 and brought new rules regarding the use of cookies and similar technologies for the storage or access of information, stored on the computer or mobile device of the user.
